Crafts Around the World 2025!
with Ms. Stackhouse • 2:30-4:00pm • Grades 1–4 • Room 215
The amazing artisans of the world will inspire creativity in this class taught by Daniel Bagley teacher Ms. Stackhouse. Honoring cultural traditions and different craft techniques, we will make intricate Papel Picado flags from Mexico, Japanese Koinobori carp windsocks, miniature Irish Fairy Gardens, colorful Felted Sculptures from Nepal, rainforest Beaded Geckos and more!
Students will have the opportunity to develop respectful cultural awareness and creative skills in a fun and supportive learning environment. A special cultural snack and all materials* will be provided. (*Materials fee is included in class cost.)
PLEASE NOTE:
This class will meet on Mondays with the exception of Memorial Day (5/26). That week we will meet on Tuesday, May 27th.

Spanish

Glee Club: Revolting Children!! Selections from Matilda the Musical

This class will focus on learning healthy singing techniques using popular music, musical theater selections, and traditional rounds. Students build confidence in their singing voices singing independently and in small (fewer than 16 students) groups. More information available at the link.

Lifelong Movers

Join Ms. Richards and Mr. W for an afternoon full of fun and fitness. Our goal is to spark an interest in physical activity and health that will last a lifetime. We will be covering a series of health, fitness, and movement skill concepts. We will be working on all the skills associated with pickleball, floor hockey, and basketball. Also, we will be using pedometers and heart monitors during fitness infused games. If you enjoy physical education, then you will love this afterschool enrichment program. So come on down to the gym and be ready to move.

The glittering galactic magic of the twirling, starry Night Sky and its mysterious inhabitants will light up our imaginations in this all new class taught by Daniel Bagley teacher Ms. Stackhouse. Using different creative techniques, we will make shimmering shooting stars, a glow in the dark star lantern, a silvery spacecraft, holographic constellations, twinkling moon catchers and more! Join us as we explore the breathtaking mysteries of the Night Sky while growing your creative skills and having fun! Mini-Movies: Drama, Skits, and More!

Join us for an exciting 7-week program where students in grades 1-5 will explore the magic of storytelling through drama, skits, and mini-movie making! Each week, students will engage in fun, interactive activities that spark creativity, build confidence, and develop teamwork skills.

Act out fun and engaging skits
Explore the process of making mini-movies
Boost confidence and stage presence

Garden Art

Join Ms. Messom in this joyful garden themed class where kids will create exciting garden art in the Daniel Bagley garden using a variety of materials including canvas, concrete, paint, yarn, and mosaic materials. Design a miniature herb garden, create original flower prints using a gelli plate, build a mason bee house, design tissue paper bouquets, woven art and more. If you enjoyed this class in the past, we will be doing new projects this year!
The tuition includes the materials fee and a light snack per class. Class size is limited to 16.

Mysteries, Thrillers and Frights

Afterschool Cooking Class

Kids bring home dinner every week! Each week, students learn basic cooking skills while making dinner for their family! Students will create delicious dishes while focusing on the importance of local ingredients, scratch cooking, and natural preservatives while practicing knife skills and kitchen safety. Each entrée will serve 4 to 6 and will be packaged in oven-ready cookware with baking instructions. 16 students max.

Acting for Camera II

An on-camera class where the Sneaky Cat students learn the fundamentals of screen acting through a series of acting exercises using improvisation and physical tasks. Limited Scholarship opportunities are available for the Afterschool Enrichment Program. We select scholarships using a lottery system. If you are interested in applying, please download and complete the application below and return it to your child’s classroom teacher. The classroom teacher will turn this into the OFFICE.
