Programs & Activities

The PTA sponsors events to promote community engagement, provides volunteer support at the school, and raises funds to help fill in gaps that the school district budget doesn’t cover.

Staff subsidies: We help fund extra hours for staff roles (e.g., office administration, nurse, librarian) at Daniel Bagley that the school would otherwise not have. The staff positions supported by PTA funding vary from year to year.

Classroom support: We provide funds to each general and special education classroom teacher for additional supplies to enrich their classroom. We also fund supplies for library (including supporting book purchases), art, music, and physical education.

School day enrichment: We support assemblies, digital technology, field trips, instrumental music and more.

Community support: The PTA supports Bagley families and staff by organizing staff appreciation activities as well as an annual giving circle and ongoing donation programs for families in need.

Community Events: We foster community connections by working with the school to hold community events and family nights throughout the year, and by supporting programs like Kinder Days, 5th grade graduation, and DEI programs. Bagley's family events include:

• Harvest Hootenanny (fall festival)

• Movie and game nights

• Art Walk

• Bike Rodeo

• Literacy and STEM nights

Subscribe to the Bagley Buzz! The PTA sponsored email newsletter is published every Thursday and has info on Bagley community events, volunteer opportunites, the principal's message, and much more.

We organize a schedule of after school enrichment classes, offered by Bagley teachers and community vendors. Class sessions are typically offered in Fall (Oct-Dec), Winter 1 & 2 (Jan-April), and Spring (April-June). Registration is open for ASE Winter Session 2 (March 3rd – April 11th, 2025).
